LG VX-8550 Chocolate
You guys are all ridiculous
i am always the one wanting the latest and greatest phone. so whenever cool one's come out and usually have to go and just pay the retail price.
the chocolate was a major deal.
just like the razr when it came out for verizon.
the chocolate was something that got me really excited when it first came out. overall it was a good phone, yeah it had a couple glitches. but what can you expect. its made the sole purpose of making and recieving calls, so when you add all these features your bound to have glitches.
the chocolate was overall good, but the battery was terrible. the razr did as well.
i'm going out and getting the new 8550 chocolate today. i've played with it a bunch and they've upgraded it quite a bit. the battery life seems to be better, and that is the one thing that i'm hoping for.
and if it doesnt work out, i have 30 days to return it. and if i decide to do so, i think i'm going to go with the motorola q.
everyone complains about the littlest problems with the phone. this phone is not made for forfill every need you have. if you have a problem with it, instead of complaining, just bring it to one of the stores, and 90% of the time they'll help you out and solve it.

Thank you being the one customer in a while that comes to grips with the fact that technology is in it's infancy. Every once in a white there comes along a product that may not clear the bar set for it. The answer? The 8550 Chocolate 2.0. And if you end up returning the 8550, I suggest you wait for the Q9M. That is a banging new version of the Q supposedly launching next month. Search for it on Engadget, and you'll see what I'm talking about. Saw a pre production model in person today. Sweet!!!!

it's sad really, that the chocolate "minor upgrade" gets you all excited. Verizon has garbage phones.

First off he said the phone seemed to be a good phone. He made an awesome point about the cust service and Verizon's willingness to try to solve the problems. If you don't like VZW phones than why not look else where instead of VZW phones. Not everyone is as upset with their life to where they need to criticize everyone and everything.

As far as the negativity, no need. it's a phone, it's a music player and a camera, and does all three perfectly well. While not replacing your ipod or a digicam, it fills in nicely when these are out of reach. Free with new every 2, I like it a lot and actually enjoy using it. P.S. I took back the Krzr1m which was a beautiful PHONE only, but did not do anything else.
