Motorola Q9m / Q9c
Test messages & ringtones??
I'm thinking of getting the new Q9c from US Cellular, but first I have a couple questions for those people out there that already have the phone....
I had the original Q when it first came out for US Cellular and after I figured out how to get my personalized ringers onto the device so I could use them, it turned out that all texts had one universal ringer. (I was used to having personalized ringers for texts from using my RAZR). But also, the other problem was that when I set a personalized ringer as my text tone, it would continue playing thru the whole ringer, no matter if I pushed buttons on the phone to check the text or anything. The song wouldn't stop, it played the whole thing.
Does the new Q9c have these same issues? I'm really hoping to have a phone with personalized ringers for texts so that I can tell who is texting me before I ever look at the phone. I hate having to use one universal ringer for every text I receive.
Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Sprint Q9c running WM 6.1, it does not allow for personalized text notification out of the box, but there may be a third-party app that fixes that. I have not been interested enough in the subject to actively hunt down a solution.
