This is sort of to help people, in a way. I hope its helpful, well anyways.
Ok so i sent in a Sim Unlock Request to t-Mobile's customer service and i got their email the next morning. Here is what it read:
--------------------------------------------- -------------------------
T-Mobile Sim Unlock Request
Sim Unlock Reference: 2231180
IMEI: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Unlock Code: XXXXXXX

Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. Below you will see the Instructions for unlocking your Samsung device. For Unlock code you will enter the 8 digit code that we have provided you.

Enter: #7465625*638*Unlock Code#

NOTE: Network Personalization Cancelled should display once unlocked. "Not Yet Personalized" will be displayed if it has already been unlocked.

It is very important that the instructions are entered correctly as listed. If you receive an error message while performing the instructions do not make any further attempts to unlock the handset. Please be aware that if an excessive amount of incorrect attempts are made, the phone will be permanently locked. You will need to verify the IMEI by pressing *#06# and contact Customer Care for support.

Thank You,

Sim Unlock Department
T-Mobile USA, Inc.

I checked my mail threw my phone to see if i had gotten the email and i did so i ran to my computer turned it on and started following the instructions. I do exactly what it says, but nothing at all happens. like it dont show this is correct or error, or anything. So im like ok, hmm. I try to google this and i find an article about someone successfully unlocking their Motorola phone, and they posted the email they received and it was almost same as mine with diff instructions.
----------------------------------------NOTE: Before you start you must have a foreign (non-T Mobile) sim card entered into the handset.

NOTE: If the phone displays, "Please wait to enter special code" or "Contact service provider," you will have to wait for it to change back. Please be aware that the phone must stay powered on to do this. If the battery is low, be sure to plug it in. It could take 15 minutes to an hour to change back. If the phone does not change back, the handset will need to be replaced.

If the display reads "Enter Special Code", enter the unlock code and press "OK"

If the display does not read "Enter Special code":
1. Press and hold the * key until an entry box is displayed, then let go
2. Enter *, #, 3, 2, # and press "OK"
3. Enter the unlock code and press "OK." The display should read "Completed" or
"Deleted"

so i try these instructions and nothing. I try my instructions again without my sim card and still nothing happens. I try my instructions with an At&t sim and nothing. So i call customer service and some lady started to help me. She was all confused to, so after a while she goes, were going to take a different approach, turn of your phone and then turn it back on. So i do. Now type in this #0111*unlock code#,(after the star everything started coming out as dashes (-). So i do as she says and nothing so she tells me to try again and nothing. she puts me on hold and im just mixing in random codes but no luck. finally she comes back and she says tell me exactly what happens, and i go. Nothing its like when i type in a number to make a call, and then i thought what if i hit the Green button(send) and it showed "Network Personalization Cancelled" well actually i was not expecting it to show so i didn't really expect it to happen and it flashed for a few seconds and i could have sworn it said "Network Personalization Cancelled" but it was in spanish. i would not bet my life on it and i wasnt really paying attention since i did not expect it to work, and it flashed for a few seconds, so like im not sure if it really was in Spanish or i was just seeing things. Well thats it, hope this helps at least one person, and if you have any questions just post here.
