burning question
okay, i have an iphone but certainly like the looks of this. my question is, what are my choices if i want to buy it from at&t (instead of unlocked somewhere)? what price would i pay and how would the data package work since the iphone requires a different/cheaper plan? thanks for any help!

From what i've read, it'll be $299 with a 2 yr contract and after rebates. We'll all know more when it drops tomorrow. Or if you have a premier account, you can get it for cheap without having to extend your contract.

If you want to purchase without a contract, you will need to pay the full price which is projected to be 549 - 599 usd. Rebates are generally associated with contracts.
The data plan is structured similarly to the iphone plan.

Actually the data plan is different to the iPhone. The iPhone data plan starts at $20 for unlimited data and 200 messages. It goes up from there depending on how much messaging you want to do. The Tilt will use a PDA data plan, which starts at $39.99 and includes unlimited data and 1500 messages. $10 more gets you unlimited messaging.
Full retail on the phone will be $599.99, 2-year contract discount will bring it down to $399.99 after the $50 MIR.
To the OP, since you recently got an iPhone and would have had to sign a 2-year contract to activate it, you wouldn't be able to get the 2-year discount on the Tilt so soon.

New info, I just found out the price will be $299 after a $100 MIR as long as you get the data pack.
