Muffled Call quality--especially with bluetooth...

Anyone else experience this? I always owned Motorola phones. I was debating on the VOyager or the V9m RAZR. I decided on the Voyager and am contemplating returning it. The call quality especially when using bluetooth is muffled. I have to ask the person to repeat things and they seem to hear me differently also.

ANYONE ELSE? I really like the phone itself , I Love the keyboard inside, the touch screen, etc. But let's face it, if the call quality is not good, what good is the cool looking phone! :O I HOPE that I get replies on this before I make a mistake of returning it without seeing if anyone else feels this way. I suppose I have the 30 day trial, right?

Yes, on the 30 day trial. Or that's what I was informed by Verizon.

I too like the over all phone but working out some items "dialing in" - I have the Voyager 510 bluetooth headset and the phone is so new I have not used it enough in order to comment.

As I use it today and tomorrow I will come back to your question with more info. Plantronics has something to do with this Voyager phone so I hope with buying the 510 headset from Plantronics that it will in fact be a nice match.

I have the 510,it was the only one that worked with my 8300. Has anyone had any luck with another headset? The 510 is a little on the big side. Thank you.

"Plantronics 510 bluetooth headset" ---- after one day of use it is working well. For some reason when I use just the handset it is a bit on the tinny side but when I use the 510 headset (which the verizon store does not have in stock) it did work much better as far as sound quality. I bought the headset at Best Buy.

I haven't tried it with my bluetooth headset yet, but I noticed right off the bat that call quality was not so great, and sounded somewhat muffled, hard to hear in the car. I was going to return this phone for that reason and a few others but I'm going to keep it and add another line with an LG vx8350 for calls and comfortable size. I'll use the Voyager for messaging and as an extra phone (I have no land line).

The 30 day trial is the best thing - it maybe your headset - if you just purchased a new one then try another one under the 30 day policy - until you find the beest one & if you haven't tried the LG bluetooth headsets try them - the stero bluetooth made by lg -(the small shinny black one - it's on VZW's web site) is absolutely GREAT !!
