isn't the extended battery like the enV's exteneded battery big and bulkey on a thin type of phone?

I am using the extened battery (not 100% sure I needed it) and find it is VERY acceptable.
It is thicker, about twice as thick) but the amount it extends in the rear of the phone actually helps me hold the phone in my left hand while I talk on it.
Hard to explain exactly but it just fits in my hand better, it like fills the hollow, oval part of your palm. Try holding your hand like you were holding the phone but without the phone and look at the cavity. Your hand is not flat like the back of the phone.
