Rather than search through 14 pages of threads, can anyone give me a clear-cut answer if there is a way to get a JAVA or QUICKTIME player on this phone to view videos on youtube, espn, etc? And if there is absolutely no way whatsoever, are there any rumors going around as to a software upgrage that will allow for this to happen? 😉

No. The browser is html but it doesn't support either quicktime or java. But there are mobile websites that replace the functionality. Try m.youtube.com, for example. It doesn't have all youtube videos but it is catching up.
