LG Voyager VX-10000
RE: Distrortion in main speaker
Does anyone else have this problem with the Voyager whether in speaker phone mode or normal phone mode. I can have the phone on half volume and I will hear a crackling noise in the main speaker and if I put it up to full volume it is so distorted that I can not hear the conversation. I have had other LG phones in the past as far back as the LG VX 6000 and have never had this problem before even on full volume. I have ordered 3 different phones and I have had the same problem on all of the phones. I have been to 4 different Verizon stores and have listened to to their display phones and there has been no distortion. Has anyone else had this problem with their phones? A couple of people have complained about speaker noise in this forum, but most people seem happy with the sound, and several people are reporting the sound is not loud enough. Can't pleae everyone, I guess. Based on your description, you might want to see about a replacement. If you can, take your phone into a store and see how it compares with the demo.

Yeah it sounds like you might've just gotten a bad phone possibly and might have to just replace it. Overall, people are generally happy with the speaker volume though.
