LG Voyager VX-10000
Voyager advice: purchase now or wait a month or two?
I'm ready to use my new every two on the Voyager (upgrading from Samsung A950), but after reading all the forums and reviews on the Voyager, I'm thinking I should wait to purchase this phone. I know all new releases have flaws and bugs, but I'm hoping that by waiting the newer Voyager phones will have the updates. My question: If I order this phone from the VZW online website now, will these phones have the newer updates or should I wait until mid-January to ensure bugs have been corrected?

I love the voyager and I had mine updated to v. 05. the update made a great phone better. enhanced the web browser among other things. if you want a new phone i'd go for it. if you would rather wait you can do that too. the price may drop mid next year but i dont' see any reason to wait. besides if the phone has a but send a e-mail to customer service at lge.com. they are constantly testing an coming up with new software for all the handsets.

Thanks for your input. I've been waiting to check the Voyager out in one of the VZW stores in my area to make a more informed decision before purchasing it online, but it's still on back order and the store reps said it may be mid-January before they get it back in stock. Anyway, I'll try to wait alittle longer. In the mean time, I'll continue reading everyones comments on this phone, both positive and negative. This is a great forum and it's help me to make more informed purchases in the past. 😁

Hey thanks for the response. It sounds to me like the software updated definitely helps out with the browswer and the easeier scrolling! Nice. I just hope that the Voyagers sold starting Janurary have the new sofware update already part of them. Thanks...
