I understand that using the most up to date version of BitPim, one can transfer calendar and contacts to bit pim...I haven't got my phone yet it's coming in a couple of days... But, how does that process work?

-1.) Do you pull existing calendar info from outlook into bitpim?
-2.) Does it only upload to Outlook from phones internal calendar through BitPim?
-3.)Can a snyc between outlook and voyager be attained?

I use backup assistant for contacts, so i'm not worried about the contacts, but would really like to be able to sync or at least transfer from outlook into the voyager....

Thanks for your time guys! 😁

How do you interface between a bluetooth device and outlook? settings?

Is there a special method to synv back and forth with phone and outlook? how?
(Where i can make entries either in outlook directly or on the phone and they will update eachother when i plug into USB or vid B/T)

Thanks so much for time/patience in answering questions!

Once you have paired your computer with the phone (the voyager manual goes through this), you can send and receive contacts and events in outlook. To send a contact or event from outlook to the phone, highlight it and then select File | Send to bluetooth and pick the lg vx10000. To send an event or contact from the phone to outlook, select the contact or event, then options, then send, then select via bluetooth (contact) or options, then send via bluetooth (events). This is manual; there is no auto sync using this method.

If you use bitpim, you can use either bluetooth or the cable to pull info from the phone or send info to the phone, and sync/merge using a few different options.

Is BitPim pretty straight forward on how to do this?

-"sync/merge using a few different options"

What are these options? Will it at least let me transfer outlook events without doing each one individually? Will it delete new events i put on the phone but not on the outlook calendar?

Really i just want to beable to backup my calendar onto outlook, but get existing events like b-days n stuff i have already stored with reminders in outlook...

You can pull/merge data from the phone to bitpim, from outlook to bitpim, and from bitpim to the phone, in batch. The bitpim users manual covers how to do this, and it's online at the bitpim website.
