I upgraded my software today. I noticed that you can now reassign shortcuts in the Fn Menu. Anyone know what else is done by the Version 07 upgrade? I wish they had made it easier to totally lock the phone. It is easy locking the front display.

Yeah i know about the sofware vs 7 as well. Are you able to reassign shortcuts on the front touch screen display as well? I'm king of hoping so. lol. Thanks for the udpate though.

ok i got the updat today and this is what i found out. the v07 updat is a big fix for bluetooth issues. I am not a bluetooth user so i really dont care. If you use bluetooth alot you might want to get the update. the complete explanation is on phonenews.com the update does allow you to change the placement of the touch icons on the front screen, just touch the center of the sceen when the phones on your wallpaper and you can change them. i hope this helps. laters

Yes. For example, you can put mobile email as a shortcut on the front screen, although it will still prompt to open the screen to run it. Basically, there are 11 links on the shortcut screen and you can choose which links to use and where they go. There are also some updates to the browser, but I haven't seen the difference yet.

Once you have upgraded to v07, the bottom right icon on the shortcut menu (not the four dot main menu, but the menu that comes up when you touch the blank screen) is "Set." Click it and explore.

Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't you give any thought to a new icon that appears after a software upgrade that gives you new features you can't otherwise find?
