Voyager General Questions
Forgive me if my questions are basic, I have tried to read up on the Voyager online but some of the posts here have confused me a bit.
This phone will be for work and personal use. My current phone is a Treo that syncs with exchange. I do not care about office docs or anything but I need to be able to use the internet, the real internet through a browser not the Verizon Internet, and I need to be able to keep track of appointments and contacts. I do not care about exchange sync but I do need to have a calendar.
Also, as I posted in another post, I need to access my email via IMAP on the exchange server. I hate my Treo and it is not working anyway. Is this the phone for me (hope so) or do I need to look at a blackberry?

The browser supports most java, but not all, and it does not support flash. For sync options, you can use verizon wireless sync or do it manually via bitpim (www.bitpim.org) for contacts. For calendar, I recommend syncing outlook w/ google calendar (there are a few different methods) and then using google's sms calendar options for reminders and entering new events that will send reminders and such to the voyager via sms.
