LG Voyager VX-10000

I have had my voyager ever since it came out and was wondering if it was my phone that was malfunctioning or the system??? It has reset in the past when I have been on the internet, and it did that about 5 times. Now, whenever I do the animated messaging, and then go to my inbox, and am doing nothing major, it will reset, whether it is erasing a message or opening one. It is hit or miss. i called Verizon and they told me that I should take it in and have it looked at and replaced. I don't want to have to deal with re-programming all of my information back into the phone, so, opinions?? 😕
