I doubt the new version will be called V10. All of the other released were odd numbered, i.e.V05, V07, V09. The new release will probably be V11, if they actually release it.

It's confirmed there is gonna be another update to the Voyager, got the news from my friend who is a tech at my local store. He doesn't know all the details except you will be able to read your voicemail as in like a text message. Say's its gonna be a good one and probably the last one. I will keep you updated.........Dont know what the version # will be..........

its visual voicemail, however the data from vzw says you can essentially see the voicemails (a list of who left the voicemails) and can listen in any order you want, however they do not convert them to text

yea, they HAVE to update their software..cause at my verizon store, im told by the techs. that i cannot update to v09 cause it will fry my phone! im like WTF!? i said ill give it a try anyways.. they told me to wait till next week and they will trade in my voyager with another one..(probably a refurb. one).. they said they fried a couple of voyagers already! surprising!

Well when the v09 just came out,took to store and in less than 10 minutes the guy brought it out and said the file was infected and the phone refused download,said could cause a virus on phone. Took it to another store and they didnt even know they had the upgrade,After arguing with them they found it,and downloaded it on phone,took just over an hour.Everything seemed ok until I started taking pics and the phone wouldnt save or send pics,it would say failed almost every time I took a pic.So maybe some stores have something screwed up with their software????

V09 jacked up my phone! I was having problems with my phone shutting down and restarting, so I took it in. They tech said to try V09. It looks cool and all, but now my phone shuts down and restarts even more! My battery doesn't last as long. Sometimes my phone will show that it's fully charged, but when I unplug it it has 3 bars. Sometimes it will show that I have 1 bar of battery left and I will look at it a few minutes later and it has 3 bars. We need the new software upgrade NOW!!!

No, you need a new phone NOW!!! No problems here upgrading my phone to v09, so perhaps some stores have incompetent techs. In any case, all your saying is that what your phone was doing before, it's still doing. So, the solution is obvious...
