Hey everyone - I'm having major trouble deciding between the voyager and the glyde. I heard that the glyde's touchscreen is actually really good if you turn the sensitivity down. I will be texting, a lot. I wont really by using the mobile tv and I'll only occasionally use the internet. BUT I hear that there is a V10 update coming out may be in September - if so will it only be for the voyager? and not available for say the glyde?

Also, I like to doodle with my phone when I'm bored and I know the glyde has a fun interactive background/wallpaper thing. Does the voyager have any random fun things on it?

Lastly, the size. I played with it in the store, and the size isn't all that bad right? I mean it would stay in my pocket - do any you ha...

honestly, get the voyager. the touch screen is much better especially w/the newer version software available. the glyde os OK but not the best at all. even w/its new software uograde, it's still got some issues and can be very hard to use a lot of the time. I love my voyager and it almost never freeezes up on my or restarts. knock on wood of course though. lol.

Thank you for responding 🙂

That actually helps. I have been leaning towards the voyager but my only concern is the size, but quite frankly I only saw it in the store for a sec so I didnt really get a feel of it. Is the size comfortable - I know its great for texting but does it feel heavy or kind of protruding in your pocket or just big in your hands?
Simply - do you have any complains about the size or is it really not that bad?

Thanks again!

I dont have any problems with size and I have a body glove on it. Yes its bigger than my old LG 8100 but then I went to the enV and now voyager and i love it.Yes it weights down my front pocket of a tee shirt and looks funky(the shirt sagging) but in pants pocket ok. I love the keyboard on inside so I will stick with it.Dont want the Dare or an I-Phone,love the mechanical key board.

I've previously owned the enV and the original 9800 V and these types of phones are all a bit bigger than the non keyboard phones. I personally just use a screen protector on my Voyager cause i keep it in the clean belt clip since i use the custom in car mount for it for VZ Navigator which is essential in my life. haha. I mean as far as the phone protruding in the pocket, I don't think that it'd be that big of a deal even so. As for reliable yeah i never have a problem with my touch screen and Version 9 software upgrade definitely enhances the touch screen making it much smoother. I suggest you buy the voyager. I think you'll be much happier with it. By the way, I've also got 2 different batteries for my phone. standard and extended and I do...

I work for Verizon. I own a Voyager. Have had a lot of time with it, as well as the Glyde. Do yourself a favor and get the Voyager. You will be much happier with it.
