Silver Voyager available
The verizon website is now listing a titanium voyager, with the black voyager showing as out of stock. Same price for both. There is no direct comparison feature, but it doesn't appear to be any different from a black voyager with the v09 firmware update.

yupp exactly that's all it is. If you've got the black version of Voyager just get it flashed for v 09 software and yours will look identical to the silver titanium one. No difference.

So I'm not sure why we would be expecting yet another upgrade, which was rumored to be coming with the silver voyager. V09 is it, is my guess.

Someone did say a month ago that there would be a V10 in Sept,but who knows how true that is.They said would have drawing on front screen like the Dare.All we can do is wait. I will try to find that posting.

Just thought I would share this info. keep in mind it hasnt been confirmed by any news articles or anything but several people on different forums are saying v10 is coming in september with the official launch of the silver voyager and will be the final update for the voyager. Its rumored to give it ui identical to the dares ui including the drawing pad, improved touch screen, dragging and dropping icons to the voyagers homescreen, and multitasking music. Theyve said V09 is a minor update with graphical changes that was pushed out to support the launch of visual voicemail. theyve said this info has come from both lg and verizon reps that you can call and contact for yours...

Yeah, but the silver voyager doesn't have it. Why would they release a phone, and then a planned firmware update two to four weeks later? They weren't on the hook to deliver the silver voyager by any particular time, and a firmware release just costs them money.

honestly all i'm looking for with a newer software version is the multi tasking and that's about it cause now the touch screen is definitely more responsive and smoother to use. The look of the new Voyager is nice as well for sure. I'm very happy w/ it overall so far if i could just figure out how to but touch flash games onto my phone. lol

The v09 update gives voyager the same firmware as Dare. There are a few minor differences that depend on the specific hardware configuration. Neither is completely updated to all the visual voicemail functionality. A v10/11 firmware update is rumored, but there are no current details.

I talked to a VZ rep and they said the only reason they released the sliver voyager is because they ran out of the black. otherwise they were holdong off on it.

Just wanted to put my words in that I would love to see a version v10 software update. I think It would put the voyager over the top. I am trying to find out from my friend who is a tech at my local store but have not heard anything yet, when I do I will update but for now I have my fingers crossed......
