LG Voyager VX-10000

Everytime I was going into my browser my phone reset itself. I went to Verizon and they installed the new software update. This didn't work so they had to order me a new phone. Anyone else have this problem? 😡

i cant for the life of me figure out where to train your voice for the phone,, the help menu says its in the settings menu,, anyone got a direct link on where it is?

Hey, just got mine. First off I am a fan of phones period; hence the name phonenvy. I got my voyager, had Verizon update it and I am so impressed that I have no cons about it yet.

If Verizon makes something to where It can have push email at least every 5min I will get rid of my blackberry. Oh and battery life, is to be expected.

I have played with the Iphone and it is a truly beautiful device. But for the money I'd rather have 3g technology. Pay 500 for a phone and it doesn't have gps. I am so hurt. Apple should have stayed with Verizon. The Iphone is a Ferrari with a ford taurus engine.

I sure the Voyager though is capable of so much more. . . . I can't wait.

wats up, i looked at other threads but could not find a good answer i know a lota people asked this probably. i recently (today) got this great phone ( i had the 8100 and all the ones b4) how do i get this phone to read the mp3's on my 2gb micorsd? and i read it can hold up to 8gb, but where can i buy those?
on my other LG i had to enable mp3's in the menu but this one i can not. im curious to hear some tupac and biggie outa the speakers, it should sound good.

I have had this phone since the day it came out. I can't find any faults with it all except one and that one has made me decide to return it.

I can't hear it ring when I am outdoors and the phone is in my pocket. Doesn't matter what I do. I've tried my own ringtones, all of theirs and still I can't hear it. I have it set on high and vibrate. The vibrate is too weak to really alert you as well.

It's a shame. I had the original 9800 for a short time and don't ever remember that being a problem. I do remember wishing then as I do now that they had put the speakers on the outside.

In retrospect I wish Verizon had released the Prada version of this phone instead of the env.

I have the 510,it was the only one that worked with my 8300. Has anyone had any luck with another headset with the Voyager? The 510 is a little on the big side. Thank you.

How is the front screen on reliability.

1. Will the phone screen crack easily?
A. On being dropped?
B. On pressure put on it?
C. In general? (Sitting on it)

2. Will the phone lose the touch ability?
A. On being dropped?

I have read all of the pro's & con's that you have listed; however, as much as I like this phone, one of the most important features for me is syncing with my outlook calendar. Whats the word on this? Can the voyager deliver? I too am considering jumping ship(from VZ) and going the iphone. I currently have a treo 700.
right now I am in research mode....

Anyone else experience this? I always owned Motorola phones. I was debating on the VOyager or the V9m RAZR. I decided on the Voyager and am contemplating returning it. The call quality especially when using bluetooth is muffled. I have to ask the person to repeat things and they seem to hear me differently also.

ANYONE ELSE? I really like the phone itself , I Love the keyboard inside, the touch screen, etc. But let's face it, if the call quality is not good, what good is the cool looking phone! :O I HOPE that I get replies on this before I make a mistake of returning it without seeing if anyone else feels this way. I suppose I have the 30 day trial, right?

Everyone I call say they hear their own voices in an echo when we talk. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm getting frustrated trying to turn off or adjust the volume on the outside keypad on my Voyager. When I dial a phone number, it "speaks" each digit pretty loudly. I've looked everywhere I can think of for an adjustment but must be missing something. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Is there any way to not have the phone lock after you dial on the touch screen. Example....when I call my voice mail I have to press unlock to type in my password. Thanks

So, went into local VERIZON store in NYC metro area to find out about the software update. Yeah, they knew there was an update...but, of course knew nothing about what the update remedies. Forget the fact that they hardly spoke English and could barely read; they are moronic as they are doing these updates for people and do not even know why.

I dig the phone...actually works quite well. Leave it to VERIZON and a good thing could possibly become a bad thing when installing the update that may not even be necessary.

You all are a lot brigher than the VERIZON folks (and need not apply for employment at VERIZON)...any advice regarding the value of the update if the memory card is not of issue?

starting today everytime I get a call , the phone says VERIZON WIRELESS then my ring tone starts . anyone else expieriencing this ? to date ,no updates.

ive asked this question before got no answer,, how do i download the drivers for the usb cord for windows vista, and will i be able to use the phone just like a card reader? viewing folders and what not. and use it as a webcam?
