You can use a 3.5 mm headset to listen to the FM radio and the media on the handset if you pick up a Nokia AD-50 adapter. You will be using the handset's microphone if you receive a call while doing this. A message pops up when you insert the AD-50 informing you of this.
Gameloft Games I've purchased have been able to access the web to show me additional titles to purchase so it is not a complete blackout of third party applications from the web. It did ask for permission before retrieving the information. I've not attempted any of the applications you mentioned.

I tried the google link as prescribed and no go. Thats for Roch NY T-Mobile. I believe you could access google maps if you subscribe for data @ 5.99 a month. I have used to great success a free service that will text you directions- its 1 800-373--3411. It also is free (listen to an add) 411. Very good voice recognition etc. Don't know it they can use GPS - well how could they! Still pretty useful. Try the email client though- wow- downloads are same as text messages and come out of package. Sweet. It even pushes mine.
