The A310 is no longer offered and is in a whole different category than the decoy. What matters is what you need your phone to do.
From a features standpoint, the Decoy. But if you just need a phone that makes calls and takes calls, then the a310 I suppose.

Can I get it at the store? My friend has an a310 and it rocks. It turns different colors on the outside screen but inside stays blue which is my favorite color.

The most recent review is from November of '07 and most are from 2006. Gonna be tough to find one anymore.
Time to move onto a model a little more recent. IF you like simple, look into the LG 5400 or Moto W385. They're simple and affordable.
If you like features (at least ones that go beyond sevon colors on the outside scren) then look into the Decoy or LG 8350 or 9400 (depending on budget).

my friend just got one (a310) last week when he called into verizon, they told him it was free. so all you have to do is call into thier sales department and they can sell most of verizons more seasoned phones

U can't get the a310 so don't worry about it. Besides I had it 5 years ago and it sucked--low volume and no speakerphone
