Music Download Problems

I'm having a hasd time downloading music to my Sprint Curve. I upgraded the card to a 4G which means I should have more then enough room but when I use the Desktop Manager and try and download a song it says I need a card at least 2.8, so what I'm I doing wrong? I'm trying to copy files from my ITunes library to my phone.
