BlackBerry Curve 8330

it seems that the D on the screen is no longer there and i cannot check to see if a message was received. I called verizon and was told that this feature has been removed for storage purposes. Anyone else have the same problem?

I wouldnt call it a problem. But yes, verizon has removed the feature.
