BlackBerry Curve 8330

I've read in several places, and seen on the Verizon site, that they are no longer selling the 8330. 😳 Does that mean those of us with the 8330 won't be able to get OS upgrades from Verizon? Do they just stop all support for the phone? Just a little concerned as I love my 8330, and don't want to have to change any time soon. Some of the newer software is compatible with the 5.0 OS, so I was just wondering.
