BlackBerry Curve 8330

Does anyone know how to adjust the call log settings so that it will store more calls? Currently, my phone only goes back about 7 days worth of calls. My treo used to be able to handle 4 months worth of calls. I was just wondering if there was a way to change your settings.

I have looked in the various areas of the OS and have not found a solution. If anyone has one, please let me know. Thanks.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to change your #1 key speed dial. I have a customer that played with buttons and changed the number and it no longer calls her vm. I am trying to reset it for her. If you know let me know please!! Thanks.

I have the Sprint Curve and have noticed that reading and sending SMS texts is getting slower all the time. What I mean is that you hit send, and it freezes for a few seconds, then sends it. It also occurs when opening a recieved messeage, you click on it wait a few seconds then it opens. by few, i mean about 5 seconds. Its getting pretty annoying. I have my corporate email synced to my phone, and I have hundreds of e-mails in my outlook. Could this be the reason? How bout to many SMS texts back logged? Anyone else having this problem?

I am a former treo user and happily made the move to the 8330 curve. My question is how do I set up ring tones for individual numbers. I figured out how to do it if it is audible but a couple of the number I need to vibrate with no audible at all times. Any help out there

Has anyone experienced problems when trying to view videos online where a Flash Player is needed, and if so where you finally able to get it working correctly?

Only because I was REALLY frustrated with the gmail sent messages coming back to me in my inbox and no thread really helped me throughly....

Has anyone successfully send data via bluetooth to another handset or pc? When I try to send a file from my BB Curve to another phone or to my pc it says "unable to make connection."

Are you guys able to teather with the phone? Use it as a Modem without a charge? I know its possible on T-Mo's Pearl, but does anyone know if you can hook it up to a laptop to get internet access?

I just figured out to enable my curve's browser support for java, style sheets, and html, and embedded media. Things look AWESOME now! I was slow on this one. 🤭

Hey guys.. im tryin to creat some ringtones for my Curve... i know how to get music files and all for my ringtones but how do I creat the "30 second clips"

I just loaded the BB software into my comp... i have my music in there, but i don't know how to cut the files into ringtones... Help?

Does the Curve allow you to text message while your on a call? My Fusik would let me do it, so I know its not unheard. But for some reason my Curve doesn't let me and gives me the error: "Mobile equipment status failed".

Ok, so I was able to talk to my other friends that have BlackBerrys but I can't seem to communicate with one of them. We both sent each other our PIN and on our Pending contacts it has it that we are both pending. is there any reason why the pending wono't clear? I did it fine with everyone else. The only thing that I can think of is that he doesn't have a data plan with his Pearl. He's got it with T-Mobile. Ok, any help woul dbe really appreciated. Thanks.

I currently have Verizon, but I am not under contract and was considering maybe uprgading from my razr v3m. I have been with Verizon for the past 10 years. Before that I had Sprint PCS which was awful and customer service was poor. If I chose the Blackberry 8330 on Verizon I know I will get the stellar call quality I have had for the past ten years and excellent customer service that speak English. Plus I will be able to use MMS without having to use domain names, not like that matters.

The bad with the Verizon curve: GPS is locked down can only use VZ Nav $1O bucks, No support for VCast, no VCast TV, although it isn't available in Miami yet, but is in many smaller markets, makes no sense, not sure Mobi TV will work with Verizon, and it ...

Help: I have a Curve and am on Verizon. When retrieving a voice mail, I always get an error message the first time I enter my access code 👿 The second attempt grants access. Any suggestions?

Will Mobi TV work on the Verizon Curve? To clarify I'm not talking about VCAST TV which isn't supported on the Curve but Mobi TV which costs $9.99 per month for about 40 channels. When you go the Mobi TV website it shows it can work on the Pearl 8130 for Verizon, but not for the Curve yet.

Two weeks ago I went into a Sprint store to check out the Blackberry Curve 8330 and maybe switch from Verizon to Sprint. However, they had no curves in stock. The sales representative took my name and number and said she would call me when they received a new shipment. I still haven't heard from that representative and probably never will so I decided to call Sprint customer service. After going through layers of menus I finally got a live person in a foreign country (choppy English, etc sounded like India) and she didn't understand what I wanted. Finally, she got it and put me on hold to find out. Next thing I know I hear clicks and I am listening to "if you want to make a call please hang up and dial again", disconnected. Does anybody know if sprint will enable picture mail on the curve anytime soon? I saw a few articles saying that they will enable it for the mogul and touch with winmo6.1 but haven't seen anything with the blackberry phones. this phones looks awesome but i NEED picture mail (and using the email address to send pictures via email is stupid).

Does anybody know the cheapest place I can get a curve for sprint??? I’m still not eligible for an upgrade and I don’t want to add another line…

I just set my Curve last night and am having problems sending emails from my phone intermittently. Another problem is that when I receive emails they only show up in my messages icon and not in my email icon. The red asterisk shows up on the messages icon but not on my email icon. I had a Pearl and never had problems. I called tech support and they had me check the settings which were correct and their solution was to try a hard reset. Any other suggestions? I just received the Curve Saturday as a replacement to my Pearl.
