is it going to be as crazy as when the first iPhone came out?

So I'd like some input on this,
do you guys think att & apple stores are going to be as crazy as when the first gen iPhone came out,
what i mean by this is will there be people camping out for a week straight to get there hands on one?

Personally I don't see why people would do that- its only an update, nothing that new or revolutionary on this one.

Pretty sure I'm getting one..but will I take a week off of work to camp out at the local att store...or will I even wait in line for hours? No. I can wait an extra week..like I did last June.

Oh heres another question, a little off topic- but the iPod touch is priced at 300$ for the 8gb version. The new iPhone is priced at 200$..equipped with 8gb. SO I'm going to guess theres going ...

Dude, no need to take a week off of work, or even wait in line for hours. Just go to your local apple store. They will have tons of units available even when at&t stores sell out. Same thing happened last year. Plus, the discounted price is only available to customers who a) currently own an iphone b) are starting brand new service or c) are eligible for an upgrade at the time of purchase. Otherwise, everyone else will have to shell out $399 for the 8 GB and $499 for the 16 GB, which means the wait time in lines will be a lot less.
