Release date
I was just in the Nokia NYC store and told the release date is next Friday. I'm not sure if that applies to web sales as well.

Thursday night I got a wink and a nuge from a tech guy at the nokia store in Chi town to check in on Wed. Officialy he was not able to tell me the realease date. All this while I was checking out his E71 US version. It is one hell of a phone for its size.

Yeah, dates may differ slightly. The phone does feel absolutely fantastic. I also like that Quickoffice is a full edit capable version right out of the box.

Yup, call the NYC store, they'll confirm that Thursday night is the release date.

Update.... They are available at the Nokia Store on Michigan Ave in Chicago. I had a friend that lives there pick up one for me and shipped it overnight. I'll have tomorrow by 10:30 am. Will let you'll know what I think of it. I currently have the iPhone 3G and the biggest issue is the battery life or lack of.
