So far so good

I've had this phone for about 5 days now, and I'm pretty impressed so far, however I'm coming from a Samsung SGH-D807, which is a pretty low end phone. Basically, this phone is a nice step up from my previous phone.

All together I paid 39.99 for the phone. They gave me a $50 mail in rebate, along with a 10% in store discount. For the price I paid, I think this is a great bargain, and I couldn't be happier.

I'm still getting used to the Sprint service though. Unlike AT&T, If you didn't sign up for a data plan, Sprint still allows you to surf the web and such. Whereas AT&T disabled that feature if it's not included in your plan. I guess it's a way for Sprint to make a little more money by offering the option of the service.

Anyways, I plan on getting a micro sd card, and from what I understand the maximum that this phone can handle is 16gb. A lot of people told me not to store near the maximum amount the phone can handle, because it will affect the phone's performance. Should I play it safe and just get the 8gb instead? What do you guys think?
