Palm Pre (CDMA)
Pre can't do personal ringtones - or record video ??
Combine those two huge shortcomings with no ability for external memory - these are simple things Palm should have accomplished with this device -

Umm....read the specs on the info tab of "this" forum. You won't find specs for recording video. This info's been out for months...there's been talk of Palm releasing an update to the OS that could enable video recording. We'll see... 😎

theres an app for the palm os call minitunes you take ur mp3 cut to any where and how long u want u think the pre wont have it

Doesn't the feature list say "Custome Ringtones" & "real music ringtones". What's not personal about that? I'm sure you can assign it to anyone in your phone book.

The Pre does custom ringtones because I read the 344 pg user guide thats available on online. It won't do video as of now, no visual voice mail and no voice activation. It does have a lot of neat features.
