Apps Running . . .
I can "kill" all running apps using an app killer and then make a simple text to a friend, check apps running and see a list of 15. How did the clock, calendar, maps, etc get open without me using the apps or opening them.
Not understanding this. This seem to happen all the time.
more seriously, if you are using Advanced Task Killer (which seems to be about the #1 app out there...), you need to make sure that the check mark is "on" before you "Kill all selected"
Once you remove the checkmark, it defaults to off for that application. (which is arguably a feature)
I have discovered (no great revelation to most, I expect) that if you long-touch on the application in ATK, it gives you a menu that allows you to jump to or kill the app without doing a kill all. Killing apps individually allows you to keep ATK open, and see the apps go away.
If you have the calendar widget, it will fire the calendar app. If you have a clock widget, it will fire the clock, etc. Most widgets have an associated ...
