Hi! I called that number you gave me, but that lady wasn't there, so I talked to a guy about the phone, and first he said he didn't know anything about it. Then he looked it up, and said well you'll have to order through us, but it will cost you $252.00. I told him I was a Verizon customer, but he said I would have to pay full price for the phone. Then he said it was still being tested, something about the Bluetooth. He said he could order it, but I'm NOT paying that amount. He didn't sound real sure about what he was talking about. Sorry to hear of the BS. My price is based on signing a 2yr contract with them. Without contract most phones like this are in the $200 to $300 range. The contract price subsidizes the cost of the phone. It's like this with ATT, Sprint, Verizon etc etc. I'll have mine next Tuesday.
The phone is already released. I know people who have it and are very satisfied.
Celluphone is a cell phone distributor. They quoted me $159. They aren't supposed to sell to end users like us though. You might get lucky and they would sell to you. It's still alot for a phone though without the contract.
From what I hear it's going to be a long time before Verizon carries this phone if at all.

Thanks, sfukr! I didn't realize you signed up with them. Thanks for more of the info. Verizon sure is trying to push people into smart phones, of course it's more money for them. I only see a few flip phones in the stores anymore. And the ones they have look so cheap and lightweight, I was not impressed. All I really do is talk and text. Almost 100% of the phones are touchscreens, and they are cool, but my quirk would be the fingerprints and smudges. I have ALWAYS liked the flip phones.
