Great news. Also: for those who disbelieve and think this phone is still far away, know this: ATT and motorola gave the v600 away to several people at teh Sundance film festival in Utah over the past week. And though I was there (and didn't get one) I saw them in person and they look great, only about, maybe even less than a centimeter wider than the v60, which I presently use. I've been told (but haven't seen) pics of stars getting the phone at Sundance in this week's US magazine too. Only ten days away for many of you...anyone know if the 14th is nationwide or only in the first four markets? anyone with dates for other carriers? thanks

Not so based on Motorola. Moto is now officially saying that the phone will be released to the open market on Feb.9th and that ATTW should have released it on Feb 2. So if ATTW is going to pass Moto's official sale (for Unlocked ones)I don't get your statement of ATTW only. Granted Cingular will not be releasing a branded one until the exclusiveity deal period with ATTW is passed.
