Ebay - What's with people selling links to get V600 for $35?

On Ebay I've seen a ton of people selling "information" on how to get a new unlocked V600 (or other phones) for $35. What the heck is up with this? Does anybody know what this scam is all about?

In my opinion, it is a scam. From what I understand, you basically pay $35 dollars to put your name on a "waiting list". Once they collected enough money, they buy a phone. The person on the top of the waiting list gets the phone. Then, the second person on the list move up to the top spot. Again, if they collect enough money, the next get get the phone and so forth.

But the problem is you may be in position 2000 and you need 40000 people sign up before you can see the phone.

If someone runs a scheme like this, do you think they will actually buy a phone and give that to anyone? I don't think so.

It is even worse when people are selling the link at e-bay. If is sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

(MobileMatrix).It is basically a pyramid scheme - I have no clue if it works or not, but you could go ahead if you want to and try. It will cost you 20$ to put your name on a list.
