The V600 will be hand-delivered to the stars in a custom-made box in the shape of an old-time film camera that features an audio snippet of Mel Torme's classic rendition of "You Oughta be in Pictures." THIS WHOLE DELAY IS A MARKETING THING
I am fully convinced that this is all about MARKETING. The Oscars in addition to the Superbowl, NBA All Star Weekend and whatever else, will give this phone maximum exposure, which will in turn boost demand, which will in turn boost sales ... revenue, etc.
Motorola is so out of touch with it's consumers, it's pathetic. I want this phone and unless my European connection comes through, I am willing, like most of you to wait for it. The demand is already there. This phone will sell like crazy. All they need to do is check out forums like this to see all the buzz this phone is getting. My goodness, people have actually threatened each other on this forum.
