It depends. The V710 is for CDMA and the V600 is for GSM. The V710 is basically only for Verizon wireless (look closely at the picture and you will see Verizon engraved on the screen), and supposedly the V600 will be released to AT&T first, don't know when that's all. That's why I just got myself an unlocked V600 on eBay from a legit seller for $633 with shipping (Vodafone with HS810 bluetooth headset).

Sorry to burst your bubble there pal. I work for AT&T and we are getting the V600 in about 2 weeks. You could have saved yourself $400.

The reason that I got the V600 now is because I want one NOW, not next month or the following month. I've been waiting for this phone to come out since late September/early October. AT&T keeps pushing it back till who knows when. I'm getting an unlocked (Vodafone)one now and use it till AT&T comes out. I'll get the AT&T one and sell the Vodafone one for at least 400 WITHOUT the bluetooth headset (HS810). I figure that the bluetooth headset is worth about $100, and the phone goes for about $400, I'd lose about $100, but thats the price for wanting something first.

If I were you, I wouldn't make claims as to when the phone is supposed to be out... that game has been played well for the last 4 months or so now. There have been 3 or 4 recent supposed release dates that haven't held up to anything, so I wouldn't put a time frame on it if I were you. There are a lot of people out there that are not happy about this whole release issue... me being one of them. I am not blaming you, but I don't know how you can say that you know when it's going to be out when you are about the ONLY one that seems to have any clue anymore.

I can't believe between the two companies that they didn't have a more solid marketing plan on this phones release. Especially the fact that Motorola was advertising that they were g...

Here we go again. If Motorola has always waited till AFTER a celebrity function to hand out the phones to the general public, why is this year going to be any different. Oscars are next sun. If the phone is comming out, it will be AFTER sunday.

If ATTWS will be packaging the headset with the phone(runmor) then who needs the Motorola 1 of 600 special???

The "software issues" are most likely BS. The V400 I have been playing with for a few days now has worked flawlessly.

I must say though, having the V400 has quenched my thirst for the 600. Sure I want one, but I am not pulling my hair out anymore.

It's nice. Not groundbreaking, just...nice.
When someone comes out with a 4 band GSM AND the 2100 stuff in Japan phone, I will be ex...

For those who have bought the Vodafone V600, I was just wondering if those two red logos can be taken off like a sticker? I am seriously considering tagging a Vodafone if it weren't for those two un-appealing red logos.

I just ordered the Vodafone V600 yesterday so I haven't received it yet. I know for sure that the Vodafone logo inside is removable because it's just a sticker/label, but the one on the outside is not removable. I can live with it because once AT&T comes out with one, I'm getting that one and selling the Vodafone. It's just the price to pay to be one of the few to actually have the V600.

I don't know how ATT puts it's logo on phones now but the T68i I got 1 year ago has a logo that's chipping off. I bet it wouldn't be too hard to get the logo off...good luck!

I got the Vodafone V600 on eBay from a legit seller for $614.99 plus $18 for 2-day shipping. He has a website GSMphonesource.com which he also sells other phones and V600 faceplates (which I ordered two sets from before). I should get the phone by Wednesday; he already emailed me the tracking number. Heres the link:
