Motorola v600 buggy?

Hello,

I've read numerous threads on different forums about the v600 being very buggy. I'm wondering if you guys think these bugs are going to carry over to the release version? Do you think this is part of the normal research and development or is the phone just a buggy mess?

For what it's worth, I've been using mine pretty heavily over the past week, and the only bug I've run into is that the 6-bar battery meter only seems to display even numbers.. The meter reads either 6, 4, 2, or 0 bars. Other than that, it's been golden.

Just looking around at various forums, it looks like V600 software from early to mid January is rather buggy. The more recent software has some minor bugs, and the latest stuff seems even better.

I doubt anyone wants to ship a buggy phone, but at this point I'd bet people would be willing to live with the 6-bar battery meter thing... It wouldn't be the first time a mostly-working phone was released. I'll bet the whole Oscar marketing crap is holding it up at this point.
