Current V600 users and wannabes, some questions

1. For those who already have the phone, how is the Bluetooth connectivity working for you? The apparent benchmark for said connectivity is SE phones, so any comparison would be helpful too.

2. If I by a locked phone when I'm in the UK, where/who/what does unlocking involve, and when I come back home to the US, how much will I pay or where can I go to get the thing unlocked?

1. Bluetooth works great with my v600. I can find other phones and connect to mine easily. The headset has a good range too ... close to 20-30 feet for me.

2. I don't know, sorry ☹️

1. Bluetooth is working well. I use a Linksys adapter to load mp3 ringtones and send/receive pictures with my PC.

2. There's two main ways to get the phone unlocked. The first is to obtain a SIM from a different provider, load it into the phone, power it up and enter in the phone's subsidy code when prompted. Every phone has a unique subsidy code which is kept in Motorola's servers, and there are services that will get you that code for a price. It used to be fairly cheap at $15, but because of server abuse, prices have gone up into the neighborhood of $50.
