then go to:
Configure Your Device (go) >
Configure mMode WAP Service (go) >
Select Mobile Device (v600) >
Submit Mobile Device Number (your v600's ph. #) >
write down the PIN
Then AT&T will send your v600 a message, "READ" it, the v600 will say "Browser Update is required", select "UPDATE", enter the PIN from above, then mMode should be automatically added to your phone 🙂

on your v600, go to:
Main Menu > WebAccess > Web Sessions
then scroll down until you see "mMode GPRS" and have it selected, then use the menu to "Set Default"
Then you should be all good to go 🙂

I don't have any regrets buying my v600. An AT&T v600 would probably have alot of things locked, and if you go overseas or anywhere out of AT&T coverage, you might not be able to use your phone at all.
It was worth it for me - I guess everyone else has to make their own choice 🙂
And thanks for the offer for the SIM card, I appreciate it, but it's not necessary 🙂 I give my advi...

Amen to that.
If you want to do it yourself instead of doing it with a text message.
