Hey Cassie, question from a fellow Chicagoan
Hey there Cassie, thanks for all the great info. I want this phone and am sick of waiting for it, so I am gonna order it like you did. But i am a current sprint customer and I cannot decide if i should go with ATT or cingular. Seems like cingular has the better deals plan wise. Have you any thoughts? Were you an ATT subscriber already? I know alot of ATT subscribers in chicagoland, but no cingular subscribers, kinda makes me wonder....

I went with AT&T because they have unlimited nights and weekends. Cingular only offered 5000 minutes per month for nights and weekends. (Yes, I need more than 5000 minutes! lol)
I got the $60 family plan that gave 1,250 minutes, four free Samsung x426s with the $10/month waived for the first 3 months, free evenings starting at 7pm.
Cassie 🙂

One thing that gives Cingular definitely does right, though: If you have your own phone, then you don't need to sign a service contract. Cingular is the only major carrier that does this. The sales reps may try to push one on you, but it's actually Cingular's policy to require service contracts only for subsidized phones.
