"Are the phones come with any warranty? Or covered by any quarantee?

NO. There are no warranty or guarantee to your order as all the phones are meant of export. However, we do have a return policy that provides a minimum level of protection to our customers. For more information, please review our Return Policy section."

A question to anyone who has ordered from them - is it worth it to have NO warranty AND no insurance from Lockline -
( AT&T's subcontracted insurance co. ) -just so that you can have this phone a few weeks before release...

Maybe that's a stupid question - I want one of these too - just wanted some opinions...

What makes you think that AT&T will be releasing the phone in a "few weeks". If you have been folowing this thread at all, you would know it has been a "few weeks" since last fall. If I really believed that it would be here is a few weeks, I would wait, but I have no faith in that at all.

Anyone else think it will be out in a few weeks?

I called Motorola's 800 number and they told me that they will cover it under their warranty for 1 year. I just wanted to confirm it with them before purchasing it.

And truth be told, I'm an AT&T Wireless dealer and I've actually had people come in with unbranded phones, we call Lockline to provide them with the IMEI and they asked no questions. I'm not sure how closely they monitor the IMEI's they insure. Of course, I wouldn't call until after the phone is released by AT&T, but there seems to be a Lockline loohole.

And I bought mine because I didn't think it would be out in a few weeks either. I finally just gave in because by the time this phone is released, it'll be outdated. AT&T and Cingular have been launching their EDGE high s...
