I have been looking for information specifically for the oem V600 that a lot of us have been getting. This question is specifically for AT&T users, do you know how to set up MMS?

Has anyone gotten it to work on their V600, if so...can you tell me the settings are under "web sessions" and what your settings are under menu

I realize that my message got cut off. After reading some more...the jist of it appears that under websesssions there are 10 spots, but 9 are preprogrammed leaving only 1 spot open. It seems for mMode, you need one spot...and for MMS you need a second spot. I have been trying to figure out the correct settings to edit one of the preprogrammed settings...but I can't get it to work.

Look back about 4 days in this forum for a post from Cassie. Cassie provided a link to the web site that would set it up automatically as well as the settings on the phone to change. I got mine working fine with these instructions.

Part 1:

Try this:

http://support.attws.wdsglobal.com/ »

then go to:

Configure Your Device (go) >
Configure mMode WAP Service (go) >
Select Mobile Device (v600) >
Submit Mobile Device Number (your v600's ph. #) >
write down the PIN

Then AT&T will send your v600 a message, "READ" it, the v600 will say "Browser Update is required", select "UPDATE", enter the PIN from above, then mMode should be automatically added to your phone

Part 2:

then make sure mMode is "default" ...

on your v600, go to:

Main Menu > WebAccess > Web Sessions

then scroll down until you see "mMode GPRS" and have it selected, then use the menu to "Set Default"

Then you should be all good to go
Cassie

P.S. I know too much about this phone!

I have mMode...but I am specifically asking about MMS. By the way, I could not get the OTA...I had to do it manually, have others had this problem?

Thanks for quoting me spencer 🙂

This is how I got MMS working (mMode GPRS is a little bit different) ...

I went into Web Sessions, then highlighted "1 OrangePlus" > menu > edit, then I edited everything like it's listed here: (everything can be changed except the Name (OrangePlus)

So you didn't use P2k Manager and delete the websessions? I have read you can do this, but I have no idea how P2k really works - I've been reading about it on hofo...and motclub is in spanish!

Thanks for the info...but that doesn't seem to fix my problem. I transfer some bytes..but then it says it was undelieverable and asks me to re-send.

Any other thoughts/suggestions?
