(Ignore my last posts on this 😛)

This is how I got MMS working (mMode GPRS is a little bit different) ...

I went into Web Sessions, then highlighted "1 OrangePlus" > menu > edit, then I edited & saved everything like it's listed here: (everything can be changed except the Name (OrangePlus)

Homepage: http://mmsc.mobile.attwireless.net
Service Type 1: WAP
Gateway IP: 010.250.250.100
Port 1: 9201
Domain 1: blank
Gateway IP 2: 000.000.000.000
Port 2: 0
Domain 2: blank
Service Type 2 WAP
DNS 1: 000.000.000.000
DNS 2: 000.000.000.000
Time out: 5 Minutes
CSD no 1:  Blank
Username: 1: blank
Password 1: blank
Speed (Bps) 9600
Line Type 1: ISDN
CSD no 2: blank
User Name 2: blank
Password 2 blank
Speed (Bps) 2: 9600
Line Type 2: ISDN
GPRS APN: proxy
User Name:blank
Password:blank

... now go into Message > Menu > Message Setup and verify:

Service Centre No: +19078319301
Email Gateway: 121
Use GPRS: No

... then go into Messsage > Menu > Message Setup > MMS Message Setup > Server Info, delete one of the servers, then create a new one:

Service Name: AT&T MMS
Server Name: http://mmsc.mobile.attwireless.net
Web Session Name: "1 OrangePlus"

(I selected 1 Orange Plus because it was the one I changed from above to AT&T settings). Then, make sure in Messsage > Menu > Message Setup > MMS Message Setup, Server Info shows "AT&T MMS".

Happy MMSing!!!!!!!!

Hope this helps,

under service type 1...should it be WAP or HTTP? Isn't it HTTP? Then again...since mine is working...

I guess you could try both lol ... I copied all my settings off my v600 and posted it, so WAP works for me 😛

did not work....maybe I'm destined not to have MMS. Thanks for the help anyways. The one thing I can't figure out is why I can't get the OTA from AT&T...i have requested so many times to get the OTA...but nothing comes!

I have mMode working...but not MMS. I can't get MMS to work and it's killing me!

Have you gotten AIM to work? or Yahoo! Messenger?

hmm I don't know why MMS isn't working for you, it works for me with the settings I posted ☹️ ...

AIM/YM doesn't work with the included IM yet, I've read ... ☹️ You'll have to use them through mMode

I thought I read you can download one of the new flex that would bring aim to your phone. Do you know what I'm talking about or am I just doing crazy talk?

it's true ... you can flex the v600 to add AIM ... but I think AIM only works on T-Mobile ☹️

AIM works on AT&T through mMode

True, but I thik that ATTW has worked out something like T Mobile and it might be on their V600 released version. Well we have to wait and see.
