Go to:

http://support.attws.wdsglobal.com/ »

then from there go to:

Configure Your Device (go) >
Configure mMode WAP Service (go) >
Select Mobile Device (v600) >
Submit Mobile Device Number (your v600's ph. #) >
write down the PIN

Then AT&T will send your v600 a message, "READ" it, the v600 will say "Browser Update is required", select "UPDATE", enter the PIN from above, then mMode should be automatically added to your phone ...

Now you have to make sure mMode is the "default" ...

on your v600, go to:

Main Menu > WebAccess > Web Sessions

then scroll down until you see "mMode GPRS" and have it selected, then use the menu to "Set Default"

Then you should be all good to go 🙂

Did you use AT&T's automatic setup thingy to setup MMS first? That's probably taking up the 1 open slot in the Websessions ...

Soooooo ... you'll have to manually edit one of the web sessions ...

go to:

Menu > WebAccess > Web Sessions

make sure the first session (probably named "1 OrangePlus") is highlighted, go to Menu > Edit.

It doesn't look like the Name can be edited from "1 OrangePlus", but you can edit the other settings, the name field is just cosmetic:

Homepage: http://home
Gateway IP 1: 010.250.250.250
Port 1: 9201

Service Type 1: WAP
Gateway IP 2: 000.000.000.000
Port 2: 0
Domain 2: blank
Service Type 2: blank

DNS 2: 000.000.000.000

.. oh and when you're done editing, make sure "1 OrangePlus" is set to default.

Am I the only person in this world who can't seem to receive an OTA message? Or get MMS to work once I put it in manually?
