Can someone tell me what the difference is between a JAR and a JAD? (I know what a JAR is, what's a JAD?) And how do I install them to my phone from my PC?

Thanks!

a jad file gives details about the jar program to the phone. 🙂

Download PST Phone Programmer from motclub, install it.
Download the PST patch files and save them over the original installation
Connect your v600, then run PST, open a new KJava File, read data from phone, then Enable the Java Loader
Close PST, disconnect your phone, go into Java Settings, choose Java App Loader, then connect your phone
Download Midway from motclub, then run it
Go to File > Open JAD > select the jad file
Then "Send Jad", and your phone will ask to download ...

🙂

... go to File > New, select "KJava File", click OK, click Phone > Read ... pst should suspend the phone and read from the phone ... when that's done, close the progress window, and there should be a button that says "Enable Java App Loader Menu" - click it 🙂 then follow the rest of my instructions ...
