I'm in New Hyde Park. Works great.
I've had it for a few weeks now, and not 1 droped call. It took a while to set up the browser, but all is well. I'm on the Cingular network, but the phone reads TMobile. It seems they share the towers.

I'm in NYC, and the reception is pretty good, except for when I am home. My apartment faces a courtyard and I am on a low floor (3 out of 10) and most of the buildings here are tall. Outside though, and in midtown or downtown I get the full range of bars and reception is great. I got the Plemix one and am very happy with it. So far so good.
