v600 defects/normal?

Hi, I just got my v600 today from AT&T. I have a couple of questions:

1) What is the black circle on the back of the unit situated just below the antenna?

2) I'm concerned that the back cover is not seated correctly (perfectly) on the unit. Is this a problem or are all the phones like this? Specifically:
A) The cut out in the back cover for the black circle is a hair off center -- just enough for dirt to accumulate.
B) The back cover isn't seated flush with the right side of the unit (the side with the single voice-record button). In particular, the back cover is seated more flush with the left side of the unit (the side with the two buttons).

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance!

Have you both called Motorola to make sure that this issue is normal. This phone cost to much to have defects.

Mine was like that too and as I was investigating the black rubber stopper thing I pushed it up (with the back cover off, replaced the back cover and it sits much better now. That side of the back cover still has a little space along the side now but it's better too.

Me too ☹️

Also if someone can let me know how to copy all the numbers from my SIM card to the phone memory, that would be great. I can only do it one at a time 😲

Is anybody having the problem of the phone blacking out for approx 30 seconds and then coming back. My is doing it every few hours both on and off the charger. I am assuming it is a software issue because my T720 (1st generation) does the exact same thing.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

YES!! I am having the same issue but only when accessing the messaging menu or trying to quit with using the end key (red phone)! I just got off the phone with ATT and she thinks its software, she wants me to call NBO on Monday and get a new handset. I would suggest you do the same...
