Hi all,

Has any one tried to transfer to and from the v600 using the USB data cable and a Mac OS X.2 computer?

Were you successful? Did you need any software?

Thanks,

I've only done bluetooth transfers with my X.3 Powerbook.

because the motorola software tools are windows only, I don't know if you can connect with the v600 with the cable. a USB bluetooth external dlink only costs 29 bucks depending on where you look (39 at the apple store) that with mac bluetooth file exchange is beyond easy to use. you can literally drag and drop mp3 files and pics right into the phone window and they are there in about 10 seconds. you can make a ring out of anything. if you use the program WIRETAP (i think shareware or freeware) you can turn any audio (recorded live or digitally dubbed from a cd or a dvd with the touch of 1 button) into a aiff file, then load it into itunes, convert it into an mp3 file and zip...it's a ring tone. your kid's voice...your favorite line or so...
