Need info from cell phone buff

Hey everyone I'm kinda new to this so help me out here. This is the problem I have and hopefully one of you phone buff's will know what I should do:

I have a contract with verizon wireless that isn't going to end until next year. I had a motorola T720 for a while but I lost it back in November and have been stuck without a phone for a while now. After seeing this V600 I've decided that this is the phone I would really like to get. Problem is verizon won't be getting it and I know they'll get some other version of it later on but I'm somewhat dissatisfied with verizon's service lately. Anyway, should I go to at&t to get this phone and sign a new contract or should I buy it from motorola itself? I've been reading aboout unmarked and unsomet...
