hey all, is it possible for me to buy an unmarked unlocked v600 and use it at verizon wireless? if not could someone tell me why so i can get a better understanding of how all this works? also, where can i get the phone unmarked and unlocked (besides ebay)?

Unless I'm mistaken, Verison is digital only, not GSM band, meaning not a world phone, not a sim card phone. The v600 is gsm, so it is not compatable on verizon. it is only compatable with Cingular, AT&T and T mobile.
