i'll try posting this again, sorry if it's a pain in the ass
Hey all, I have another question for this group of cell phone gurus. Which service is better: t-mobile or at&t? I've heard good and bad things about both. I live in the Chicago suburbs but will be moving to the city in the coming years. So preferably I'd like to hear from someone in this area but I'd gladly take the advice of anyone that can explain which one is better and for what reasons. Also, what about sprint? What service do they run on? Actually, could someone just list the service providers and what they run on and which the v600 should work on? I know it sounds like a lot but I'm sure to someone who knows it won't take too much time outta yer day. And while I'm at it, since I'm with verizon right now do you think I should say f^ck i...

I am from chicago suburbs and on Tmobile.
I have absolutely awesome coverage all over chicago.
My boss is on ATT and just got the V600. he feels GSM coverage on ATT sucks so far. very very spotty. e.g. coverage is ok in schaumburg, but no coverage in Barrington. Downtown, its better but lot of coverage holes when he moves between tall buildings.
Never seen that happen with my T-Mob.
V710 is a CDMA phone, which is ok. but you cant really take your phone to another carrier until 3G over CDMA comes to town. my thought: stick to GSM. if you are in chicago, go tmobile.
Hope that helps.

I have TMob and have had them for 2 years. I live in subs but work throughout downtown and haven't had a problem with reception on Tmobile nor on my V600 I'm using on Tmobile.
As for going to Sprint, I've had them and the service can be choppy like my ATT GSM service was. On top of it Sprint's Customer Service really blows....
I would stay on the GSM network. Not crazy about CDMA.
Good luck.
