Motorola V600
I'm very unhappy and mad .... :(
I just got my phone back from Motorola's Service Center and I'm VERY UNHAPPY! (& maybe mad ...) 👿
I sent it in to get the crack on the black outer plastic fixed (which they did, and they replaced the back where the front hits the back so it wouldn't hit the plastic again) ... BUT! ... they ALSO changed (without my permission) my perfectly good, sharp, and bright screen for a dimmer, color-off, fuzzier (older?) screen 👿 😡 😳 👿

at brightness 0, my sister's AT&T v600 is a LOT brighter than my "repaired" v600 at brightness 6 ☹️

instead of "fixing" the phone, they may have given you one they already "repaired" in the past....i'd call motorola back and see what they will do about it.

Just curious -- did yours have a transmissive or a transflective screen and is that what Moto changed it from/to? I've noticed a significant difference between my wife's V300 and my V525 with the different screens.

Turn-around time (from the time I shipped it out to getting it back) was almost exactly 2 weeks.
They didn't charge me for fixing the phone, but they "fixed" it alright - and gave me a worse screen!!!!!! And talking with a manager at the highest level of customer support didn't do any good - she said that all new v600s are being made with the dimmer screen ... is that true?!

Actually, I got my girlfriend a phone from Plemix and then I got one. Her screen is brighter than mine. I kinda just dealt with it. I started to obsess about it, but said screw it, it's not worth it.
Now if my repaired phone gets a screen that is dimmer than what I had, then there's a problem.
