How do I know the software version thats on my phone. I have a problem in one of the Java applications and wanted to see if this is a software problem and if there are any software or firmware upgrades.

Go to personalize, phones status and then other information.

if you do not have the third option of "other information" then you might have a flash lock on the phone.

Thanks for your reply. Can u please tell me how can i get that other information back , I dont have the third option "Other Information". Or How do I unlock the flash lock.

The only way to do it is by flashing the phone. You would need the data cable to connect to your pc's USB port.

Is your phone locked to AT&T ?
